ARTOAP art
gallery artist says- most of my oil artworks have glazing. I mix
stand oil, turpentine, and a
fair amount of oil paint for the area that needs covering. This
is applied to a dry under layer and manipulated with a bristle
brush for highlights. For acrylics, First, I place a fair amount
of paint into a plastic container and dilute to the needed
consistency. Thoroughly mix the solution and then cover
the container. Apply in thin layers to give a transparency
effect.
